Betting on Virtual Racing is the same as betting on real horse or greyhound racing. Race cards are generated the day before and printed on the Racing Post Betting Shop Display Sheet. Fixed odds are given to each horse/greyhound, as with real racing the shorter the odds the greater the chance of wining. All races are shown in real time and can be viewed with live commentary in betting shops.
Betting slips are filled out in the normal manner with fixed odds, stating the meeting, race and horse/greyhound. All normal horse/greyhound bets can be accepted, normal place terms apply, Forecasts and Tricasts can be placed on all races. Bets can be placed up to the official “Off” time or “Hare’s Running”. All bets are subject to the rules of the individual betting shops. Race cards are computer generated the day before and can be viewed in the Racing Post display sheet in your local betting shop.
To place a bet, use a normal plain slip and fill out in the usual manner, stating the meeting, time of the race, your selection and amount staked. Race cards are computer generated the day before and can be viewed in the Racing Post display sheet in your local betting shop.
